Analytics Tool
We have developed a separate tool similar to a Google Chrome extension but with limited functionality. This extension allows users to set specific Amazon filters and automatically record loads that match these criteria.
The recorded data is then stored in our database, and we can later provide detailed results to users. This approach has several advantages:
1. Company-Specific Testing: The tool focuses on a specific company rather than relying on data from various users, which helps mitigate the risk of discrepancies due to different performance scores or visibility issues.
2. Reliable Data Collection: By running tests on your own company, you ensure that the data collected is relevant and reliable, avoiding potential biases from other users' data.
3. Handling Fast Bookings: While some loads may get booked so quickly that the system doesn't have time to observe them, a significant percentage of loads will still be noticed by the system.
This tool is not only helpful for comparing different software (we recommend using this method for users of Riley to ensure that all loads are detected by both systems), but also for analysing broader areas and identifying potential opportunities. Continuous observation over a long period allows users to build routes between different stops that might not have been noticed before or to change operational areas based on new insights.
Extended Data Analysis
Running the tool for an extended period provides a larger data set, leading to more precise decisions. Launching it on a separate AWS server is ideal for continuous operation without interruptions.
Free Analytics Reports
We currently provide personalised analytics files for free. The setup is similar to the familiar Google Chrome extensions, making it easy to use. Users can name their searches, start them, and see the number of loads that match their criteria. For detailed information, users can contact our customer support with the task name, and we will send an Excel file with the relevant load details.
Adopting an Analytical Approach
We encourage users to adopt a more analytical approach rather than relying on individual cases or daily observations. Consistency over many days provides a clearer picture and helps avoid misconceptions that may arise from anecdotal evidence. Each company may experience different results based on various factors, so relying on data from your own operations is crucial. The logistics industry requires continuous adaptation to stay competitive. By using tools like our analytics software, users can gain deeper insights, optimize their operations, and make informed decisions based on comprehensive data analysis. Always ensure that your search filters are consistent when comparing tools, and take advantage of extended observation periods to enhance your strategic planning.
